Winnipeg Conclave No 4, Order of the Secret Monitor or Brotherhood of David and Jonathan

On May 28, 2011, Saturday, five (5) of us were Inducted as Secret Monitors and Admitted as Princes into Winnipeg Conclave No 4 of the Order of the Secret Monitor (OSM) or Brotherhood of David and Jonathan at the Masonic Temple in Kenora, ON. Prior to the Conclave Meeting, we met at Hap's Landing for lunch. It was great to meet Brethren from Western Ontario who are also OSM Members. The food was great and the fellowship was very warm.
Those Inducted and Admitted along with me were: RWB Al Hadley, RWB Junn Manalang, WB (now RWB) Mason Jardine and WB Leif Hansen.
The Ceremonies were impressive and the lessons were wonderful.
It was an uneventful and wonderful drive from Winnipeg to Kenora and back. It helped make the day an excellent one.
It was unfortunate that I could not attend the October 22 Installation of the Conclave in Kenora. It was on the afternoon of the evening of the Potentate's Ball, the Reception of which was at 5 PM. RWB Al Hadley and I did not want to rush back from Kenora to Winnipeg so we sent our regrets to the Secret Monitors & Princes.
As of now, I will be unable to attend the next Conclave Meeting, which will be on May 26, Saturday. There is an event in which the Grand Master has to attend and officiate in a Ceremony late in the morning that day.
