It was very difficult and also very heartwarming to see the children smile and laugh despite what they are going through in their battle with cancer. During the very short while we were there, I believe that we helped make a positive difference in the lives of the children patients and their families.
This is a chronicle of key events in my continuing Masonic Journey and in my life. From time to time, I will also post information about matters which I think might be of interest or importance.

CancerCare Manitoba Children's Christmas Party, Dec 16, Friday
On December 16, Friday, CancerCare Manitoba held its annual Christmas Party for its child patients and their families at the CancerCare office at the Health Sciences Complex.
DGM RWB Al Hadley, Lady Carol Hadley, SGW RWB Doug Webster, Lady Val Webster, Grand Secretary MWB Ted Jones and I helped Santa Claus and Mrs Claus give gifts to the children on behalf of the Grand Lodge of Manitoba. Every year, the Grand Lodge donates funds to pay for the children's gifts.

It was very difficult and also very heartwarming to see the children smile and laugh despite what they are going through in their battle with cancer. During the very short while we were there, I believe that we helped make a positive difference in the lives of the children patients and their families.
