On Maundy Thursday, April 5, 2012, Bethesda Chapter of Rose Croix, had an Observance of the Feast of the Paschal Lamb, with RWB Fred Heinrichs, 32°, Most Wise Sovereign, presiding.The Brethren had the traditional dinner of roast lamb.
MWB Don Beattie, 30°, was the Guest Speaker. He gave an excellent presentation about "The Evolution of Jesus".
I had the honor of assisting the 33°s in serving the elements to the Brethren. It was great to see and chat with some of the 33°s who are unable to come out regularly to the Scottish Rite or Lodge Meetings.
As usual, this Observance gave me a chance to reflect on what Lent meant to me.
The Ceremonies were performed excellently, the presentation of the Guest Speaker was wonderful, the meal was great and the fellowship was warm. Another excellent evening.
