Lt Governor's Annual New Year's Levee, Jan 1st, 2012

On January 1t, Manitoba Lt. Governor Philip Lee and his wife, Anita Lee hosted their Annual New Year's Levee at the Manitoba Legislature. They were accompanied by Manitoba Premier Greg Selinger in greeting the guests. From 2:30 PM to 4 PM, the public took in complimentary sleigh rides around the Legislature grounds. Members of the Manitoba Living Society and the United Empire Loyalist Association attended the Levee in heritage costume. Entertainment included a traditional Chinese Lion Dance and performances by REnaissance Voices, the Westwood Community Band and the Winnipeg Police Service Choir.
Representatives of the various Manitoba Masonic Bodies and their spouses joined the Grand Master and the other Senior Grand Lodge Officers and their Ladies to make up the delegation of the Manitoba Masonic Family to the Levee. Everyone enjoined the wonderful afternoon.
