Northern Light Prince Rupert`s Lodge No 1, Irish Night, March 20, 2012

On March 20, 2012, it was the Official Visit of the Grand Master to Northern Light Prince Rupert`s Lodge No 1, with WM Richard Lacoursiere presiding.
For the Masonic Education that evening, the WM invited RWB Doug Webster, SGW to present the paper he presented at the 2011 Western Canada Conference in Banff. RWB Doug`s paper was very well received.

 RWB Al Hadley, DGM, spoke about the Manitoba Masonic Tartan and the upcoming 1st Annual Golf Tournament of the Grand Lodge of Manitoba.

The entertainment during the Refreshment Hour was Irish dancing, the evening being an Irish Night commemorating St Patrick`s feast.
There was the traditional drowning of the shamrock.
The GM tries the concoction of Irish Whiskey and ginger ale, which was diet.
It was the turn of VWB Rudy Maraña, Junior Grand Deacon, to try the special drink.

It was another excellent evening - great Meeting, warm fellowship and wonderful entertainment.

60-yr Service Award Presentation and Irish Night, Ancient Landmark Lodge No 3, March 19. 2012

On March 19, 2012, we had the Official Visit of the Grand Master to Ancient Landmark Lodge No 3, with WM Rob Green presiding. It was the Lodge's Irish Night celebration.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 60-year Service Bar to Bro Ernie Marks.
