On June 14, 2012 (Day 7 of the NJ/NY trip), we rode the train from Flushing to Manhattan to view NYC from Empire State Building. On the tour bus on the way to the Empire State Building, we passed by the enormous Madison Square Garden.
And the historic U.S. Postal Office ...
That's where we're going ...
Here's a very familiar logo

The line to go up for the fantastic view
Following are pictures taken from the viewing deck of the Empire State Building.
The world famous Papaya Dog. They serve from 2K to 3K hotdog sandwiches every day. That's a lot of hotdogs!
We just came from there.
The Rockefeller Plaza
The famous "Love" sculpture, which has been included in a lot of movies and TV episode.
Can you smell the horses?
We went to visit Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Very lifelike! The one on the right looks like Mikey.

Crossing Abby Road
Tall. Very, very tall. And very, very big shoes.
MJ!
Mikey & Mae waited at the nearby McDonald's while Anna & I went to the Top of the Rock.
The view from the Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Building) was a lot better than from the Empire State Building.
Central Park (0.5 mi x 2.5 mi) is the green patch behind the buildings
Green building?

Someone was able to figure out how to use my camera. Thankfully, she did not drop it.
But who's arm is that?
The various antennas on top of The Rock
The world-famous Christmas Tree in the Rockefeller Plaza.
In a subway to the train station. My feet and back were sore from all the walking. So we had to take a train back to McDonald's to meet up with Mae & Mikey.
This is in the subway to the train for Flushing.

Waiting for the express train to Flushing.
That evening, we had dinner with my cousin and his family at a Korean restaurant recommended by Anna. The food was excellent. Unfortunately, we were not able to take any pictures.
It was an excellent day in NYC capped by a wonderful dinner in Flushing.
Thus ended Day 7 of our trip to NJ/NY.
